- As early as you can. December and summer Saturdays are asked about first, so if your date is one of those, get in touch as soon as it is set.
- What the venue needs to know
- If the party is at home, tell us about the space, the neighbours and where power is. If it is a hall or a restaurant, tell us their rules on sound and when the music has to stop.
- The guest of honour
- A favourite song, a decade they love, whether it is a surprise. Small details change what we suggest.
